Seed Varieties

Scotts employs an intensive research and development programme, backed by the industry's highest standards of seed harvesting, cleaning and testing.

The process begins with searching for turf grasses that show favourable characteristics, such as tolerance to heat, wear, shade, saline conditions and resistance to common turfgrass diseases.

Scotts evaluates these prospective new varieties for as many as ten or twelve years. Once one variety is approved, it's propagated under the strictest quality control standards.

The results are turfgrasses you can trust to deliver optimum performance.
